Local Accommodations

Huron County Parks have six modern full service campgrounds and three day use parks. Their facilities preserve the natural setting of Lake Huron and the woodlands along the shore.

Waegner Park and Lighthouse Park offer rustic camping cabins as a great alternative to RV and tent camping. Each rustic cabin is located in a beautiful wooded area. Wagener Park’s cabins are accessible by foot traffic only; park vehicles will deliver campers’ belongings to each cabin.

Lightkeepers cottages are located 15 minutes from Port Austin, Michigan and are adjacent to the Lighthouse Park pedestrian entrance.  There are currently seven cabins available for rent.
