Location


The Pointe aux Barques Lighthouse and Museum is located on the shores of Lake Huron within the grounds of Lighthouse Park. The Keeper's museum provides a wonderful trip into the history of the Lighthouse, Life Saving Station, and Huron County. The Lighthouse and Museum are open from Memorial weekend until October 15th. The Museum hours are 10:00AM to 6:00PM seven days a week.
There is no admission charge, but donations are appreciated.
FROM THE SOUTH
From Port Huron take M-25 north along the Lakeshore. Pass through Lexington, Port Sanilac, Harbor Beach and Port Hope. Six miles North of Port Hope turn right onto Lighthouse Raod. Travel 1/2 mile on Lighthouse Road and you will see the entrance to Lighthouse Park on your right. Turn into the Park and 300 yards into Lighthouse Park you will see Pointe aux Barques Lighthouse.Travel time is aprox: 1 hour, 30 minutes
FROM THE NORTH
Travel time from Caseville is aprox: 45 minutes to 1 hour.
